Stucco is 50% finished

Wiring is pulled

Ceilings are finished, (except Principal dormitorio)

Metal (white) roof and sound/heat insulation 75% finished

What I really like is the appearance from the main road --

a simple "Tico-style" house - fits into the neighborhood.

Looking at the entrance - small porch with roof to be added.

Driveway will go here, down to the "cochera" which may be

a garage, workshop, storage, -----

 

Cocina/Sala  (kitchen/great room)

 

 

Guest room stuccoed walls -

 

Terrace will be 10' tiled area, under roof, for outside living area.

extending along entire length here, accessed from each room.

* Note the step down at the far end. There will be a ramp inside the house rather than steps for easy handicap access.

TABILLAS (ceiling slats)

These are the ceiling slats that form the ceiling.

The wood is Laurel, and the beams Almendro.

There will be a layer of sound insulation between  these

and the metal roof to diminish the roar of the rainy season.

My Studio (taller) - Shop may be moved to cochera to use cabina as guest quarters.
